Last picture is NOAA 15 tonight, that didn’t go so well.It was a few years ago that I configured my Windows desktop to download NOAA weather maps for testing purposes. Using a portable setup with a QFH and SDR 2 plus SDRUno and WxToImg. Midwest -North America Added a Nooelec Sawbird+NOAA LNA to my setup and tweaked some settings. Cubic SDR and wxtoimg on MacBook Pro late 2012. Run of approx 5m RG58 coax into cheap eBay LNA into Nooelec NESDR Smartee. What do you think? NOAA_15, APT, QFH, VHF PREAMPLIFIER, HOMEMADE RECEIVER, WXTOIMG NOAA 18 at 2055 passing over Great Britain at 83° V dipole approx 3m above ground with reflector 44cm below.
I combined the audio files from various NOAA-19 captures to make a big collage, then reprocess it through WXtoImg. I have an RTL-SDR V3 with horizontal V-dipole, Gpredict, SDR# and WXtoImg. NOAA WXtoIMG scanlines (?) and noise My first capture! NOAA 19 ch 2-4, 0841Z. WXtoIMG MSA enhancement included for comparison.
Seen here is a NOAA 18 pass from last July. Did my own false coloration of NOAA APT images. Any help!? First successful wxtoimg images Why does WxToImg do this to my passes? They look fine coming in, but after processing this happens. Eastern North America Why do I keep getting these diagonal lines in my WxToImg decode?
